Matthew E. Chamberlain

Matthew E. Chamberlain, 63, of Salamanca, NY died Tuesday evening, December 3, 2024 at Salamanca Rehabilitation & Nursing, following a long illness.

Born December 28, 1960 in Olean, NY, he was the son of the late James and Ardyce Morris Chamberlain.

He attended Ellicottville High School and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoyed watching history and war documentaries.

Matthew had been employed with the former AVM Signore Inc. for over 10 years, the former Triple S Dismantling, and had worked doing carpentry.

Surviving are: three sisters, Linda DeBoy, Great Valley, NY, Margaret (Jeffery) McCormick, Humphrey, NY, Colleen (Raymond) Robinson, Cuba, NY; two brothers, James Chamberlain, Humphrey, NY, Kevin (Cindy) Chamberlain, Camillus, NY; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Timothy “Mike” Chamberlain.

There will be no visitation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
