Michael Skiba

Michael J. Skiba, 60, of Aurora, CO, died Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the Medical Center of Aurora following a short illness.

Born October 18, 1957 in Salamanca, NY, he was the son of the late Charles and Magdelena Reiter Skiba.

He was a graduate of Salamanca High School Class of 1975.

Mike was a former member of the Holy Cross Church, where he attended elementary school. He enjoyed running and weightlifting and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

He had been employed as a warehouse manager in Aurora, CO for over 25 years.

Surviving are: two sisters, Mary Skiba-Klock, Matthews, NC, Charlene Johnson, Jamestown, NY; two brothers, his twin Joseph Skiba, Elmira, NY, David (Carmen) Skiba, Salamanca, NY; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., at which time funeral services will be held with Deacon Michael Anderson of Our Lady of Peace Parish officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, NY.
