Miranda M. Felt

Miranda M. Felt, age 23, of Salamanca, NY died suddenly Thursday, July 19, 2018 at her home.

Born on March 21, 1995 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of Virginia (Charlie Higgins) Dalaba, Salamanca, NY and Jeffrey Felt, Salamanca, NY.

She was a graduate of Salamanca High School Class of 2014 and earned a certificate in Food and Nutrition Education.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her parents and brother. She liked to ride her bike, go shopping, and loved to bake cookies and was learning how to bake pies. She enjoyed spending time with children and babies, and she volunteered at the Community Action Food Pantry and their summer youth program.

Surviving besides her parents are: a brother, Jeffrey Felt, Salamanca, NY; her adopted sister, Debbie Coban, Salamanca, NY; her paternal grandmother, Dorla Felt, Dunkirk, NY.

She was predeceased her maternal grandparents, Henry and Charlotte Kelley Dalaba and her paternal grandfather, James Felt.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held Monday, August 6, 2018 at 1pm in the United Congregational Methodist Church, 134 Broad Street, Salamanca, NY.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association.
