Nicole DeBoy

Mrs. Nicole DeBoy, age 39, of Salamanca, NY died Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA.

Born on June 8, 1978 in Springville, NY she was the daughter of Paul (Tammy) Knight, of Salamanca, NY and Laurie (James Belscher) Opferbeck Knight, West Valley, NY. She was married in Salamanca, NY on July 5, 2002 to Mr. Jonathan DeBoy, Salamanca, NY who survives.

She was a graduate of Cattaraugus Central School and the Continental School of Beauty.

Mrs. DeBoy was employed as a Hair Stylist at Master Cuts in Jamestown, NY.

She enjoyed spending time with her children, reading, the outdoors and camping. She also enjoyed attending family functions and she loved her dogs.

Mrs. DeBoy was an organ donor.

Surviving besides her parents and her husband are: 3 daughters, Nacayla Westfall, East Otto, NY, Noehah Knight, Salamanca, NY, Catherine DeBoy, Salamanca, NY; a son, Philip DeBoy, Salamanca, NY; maternal grandparents, Richard & Catherine Opferbeck, Salamanca, NY, a sister, Rhianna (Cayleen) Cecala, Springville, NY; 2 brothers, Dale Opferbeck, Salamanca, NY, Corey Mooney, Springville, NY; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Catrina Knight, paternal grandparents, James and Dorothy Knight.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Sunday from 2-5 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family and to be announced.

In lieu of the flowers, the family suggests memorial to the donor’s choice.
