Nina Droney

Mrs. Nina B. Droney, age 79, of Erie Street, Salamanca, New York entered into rest on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at the Olean General Hospital.

Born on December 2, 1934 in Galeton, PA she was the daughter of the late Michael and Alverta Beiling Gaffigan. She was married on February 19, 1955 to Mr. Paul Droney who predeceased her on September 14, 1987.

Mrs. Droney was employed as a Waitress at the Dudley Hotel and as a Cashier at the former Bells Supermarket.

Surviving are: 2 sons, John (Patti) Droney, Bradford, PA, Thomas (Holly) Droney, Orchard Park, New York; a daughter, Susan (Carl) Rimer, Northeast, PA.; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Dorothy (Skip) Lindburgh, Kennewick, WA, Martha White, Salamanca, New York; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Beatrice Richardson and a brother, Clayton Beiling.

Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Wednesday from 4-7 P.M.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday morning at 11 A.M. with Rev. Jacob Cirigliano, of Sawyer Evangelical Church in Bradford, PA. officiating.

Burial will be in Green Cemetery, Great Valley, New York.

The family suggests memorials to the donor's choice.
