Patricia C. Moore

Patricia C. Moore, 86, of Salamanca, NY died Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Olean General Hospital following a brief illness.

Born October 28, 1936 in Salamanca, NY, she was the daughter of the late J. Howard and Genevieve Rhodes VanBuren. She was married on July 29, 1961 to to Daniel M. Moore who predeceased her in 2012.

She was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1954.

Patricia was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed puzzles and shopping.

Surviving are: two daughters, Danita Woodworth, Wendy Moore, both of Salamanca, NY; a son, Len Moore, Jamestown, NY; three grandchildren, Sean Woodworth, Nicolas Woodworth, Christopher Moore, all of Salamanca, NY; a brother, Monte (Marcia) VanBuren, Salamanca, NY; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by four brothers, James, John, William, and Terrance VanBuren, and four sisters, Joan Passmore, Joyce Shubert, Karen VanBuren, and Sharon Story.

Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca, NY.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
