Patricia Halloran

Patricia Halloran, age 83, formerly of 53 Eagle Street, Salamanca, New York died Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Blossom Hill in Huntsburg, Ohio following a long illness.

Born on May 4, 1931 in Olean, New York, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Catherine McGurn Halloran.

She was employed as a receptionist for Dr. Paul Sum until her retirement. Previously, she had been employed at the Erie Infants Home, the former Salamanca District Hospital, and as a receptionist Dr. Howard Scholl.

Surviving are: a daughter, Kathleen (Russell) Bell, 3257 Laskey Road, Rome, OH; a granddaughter, Sydney Bell; 2 sisters, Catherine Lewis and Deanna (James) Eck, both of Kane, PA; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Halloran and a sister, Elizabeth Parker.

There will be no visitation.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, New York. Graveside services are pending.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
