Patricia L. Brace

Mrs. Patricia L. Brace, 88, formerly of East State Street, Salamanca, died Monday, September 12, 2022 at Snyder Memorial Health Center, Marienville, PA following a long illness.

Born August 8, 1934 in Dubois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Cortland and Virginia Lilac Lockhart. She was married to Chauncey Brace, who predeceased her in 2020.

She attended Dubois and Ellicottville High Schools.

She had been employed as a production worker with the former Star-Dell Products, Franklinville, NY. She had also been employed as a waitress at the former Pyramid Inn, Kill Buck, NY.

Mrs. Brace enjoyed country music, telling jokes, and collecting knick knacks.

Surviving are: two daughters, Virginia McCracken, Salamanca, NY, Winifred Marten, Newport, FL; three sisters, Fran (Willy) Chesser, Las Vegas, NV, Beverly (Joe) Thompson, Annover, PA, Martha (Ricky) Armstrong, Salamanca, NY; two brothers, Robert (Mary Lou) Lockhart, Kendall, NY, George (Milly) Lockhart, Franklinville, NY; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son Johnny Allison, a sister, Thema Budzinski, and four brothers, William Lockhart, Vernon Lockhart, Douglas Lockhart, and Joseph Lockhart.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 11am – 1pm, at which time funeral services will be held.

Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca, NY.
