Patricia Riethmiller

Patricia Riethmiller, 89, of Ellicottville, NY died Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the Olean General Hospital following a brief illness.

Born April 6, 1927 in Ellicottville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret O’Brien O’Conner.

She had been employed with M&T Bank in Ellicottville for 35 years, retiring as the Assistant Manager.

She was a member of the Holy Name of Mary Roman Catholic Church, the Altar & Rosary Society, sang in the church choir, and was a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Ellicottville American Legion Post #659.

Surviving are: two sons, Joe (Beth) Riethmiller, Salamanca, NY, Daniel (Denise) Riethmiller, Great Valley, NY; seven grandchildren, Shane (Lisa) Riethmiller, North Collins, NY, Carrie (Darin) Fidurko, Salamanca, NY, Kevin (Jenna) Riethmiller, Hermitage, PA, Michael (Rosie) Riethmiller, Salamanca, NY, Darren Riethmiller, Breckenridge, CO, Derek Riethmiller, Denver, NC, Kaitlyn Riethmiller, Great Valley, NY; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Frances Fish and Helen Hammond, and a brother, Joseph O’Conner.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River St, Salamanca, NY on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 3 – 7 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Holy Name of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Ellicottville, NY, on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 11 am with Rev. Ronald Mierzwa, pastor, as celebrant.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Ellicottville, NY.
