Patrick Flynn

Mr. Patrick Michael Flynn, age 47, of Reno, Nevada, formerly of West Branch Road, Allegany, New York died Saturday evening, November 3, 2007 at the home of his parents, 125 S. 5th Street, Olean, New York following a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born on May 25, 1960 in North Hollywood, California he was the son of Walter and Dorothea Foran Flynn, of 125 S. 5th Street, Olean, New York. He was married to the former Carolyn Razon, Reno, Nevada who survives.

Mr. Flynn graduated from Allegany High School Class of 1979 and attended the University of Mississippi.

He had been employed as a Mortgage Broker in Reno, Nevada prior to his illness. Previously, he had been employed in Sales at Edmund Chevrolet in Bradford, Pa.

Mr. Flynn will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, and brother and for his extrodinary sense of humor.

Surviving besides his parents are: 1 son, Patrick Michael Flynn Jr., Reno, Nevada; 3 sisters, Kathleen (Robert) Kirby, Las Vegas, Nevada, Maureen Flynn-Bretzin, Olean, New York, Colleen Flynn, New York City, New York, 2 brothers, Stephen (Lynn) Flynn, Westchester, Pa., Michael Flynn, Olean, New York; several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visistation.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007 in St. Bonaventure Church at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Richard Husted, pastor, as celebrant.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Home Care & Hospice, 1225 West State Street, Olean, New York 14760.
