Paul Harvey

Mr. Paul Harvey, 91, of 17 Murray Avenue, Salamanca, New York, died Wednesday afternoon, February 20, 2008 at his home.

Born on June 1, 1916 in Versailles, New York he was the son of the late Benjamin and Maude Merrill Harvey. He was married on April 14, 1939 to the former G. Theresa Przbyszewski (Presco) who predeceased him on August 17, 1963.

Mr. Harvey was in the CCC in Allegany State Park.

He was employed as a Machinist at Dresser Manufacturing in Bradford, Pa. prior to his retirement on May 29, 1981.

Mr. Harvey enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brothers and his son.

Surviving are: a son, Paul (Marilyn) Harvey, 89 Summit Street, Salamanca, New York; a daughter, Judith Spaulding, Land-O-Lakes, Fla.; 4 grandchildren, Todd Kuhaneck, Land-O-Lakes, Fla., Michele (Robert) Heusinger, Depew, Barbara Harvey, Singapore, Tammy Harvey, Wellsville, New York, one granddaughter Anya Harvey, Singapore ; a dear companion, Jean Wadsworth; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by 3 brothers, Howard Harvey, Merrill Harvey, and Albert Harvey.

Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday morning at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor Michael Peters of the Koinonia Christian Church officiating.

Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca, New York.
