Rae L. Earley

Rae L. Earley, age 78, of Barnstead Drive, Springville, New York died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Jenny B. Richmond Chaffee Nursing Home, Springville, New York following a short illness.

Born on July 7, 1937 in Salamanca, New York she was the daughter of the late George & Mary Russett Smith. She was married on November 5, 1955 in Carrollton, New York to Mr. Jack Earley who survives.

Mrs. Earley was employed as the Branch manager of the Salamanca Trust Company in Ellicottville, New York retiring in 1988.

She was a former member of Our Lady of Peace Parish.

Surviving are: 2 daughters, Deborah (Tim) McCarty, Jackson Center, PA, Donna (Gary) Hallick, Ellicottville, New York; 3 sons, John (Kate) Earley, Ellicottville, New York, Patrick (Maureen McAndrew) Earley, Great Valley, New York, Raymond (Lisa Ives) Earley, Salamanca, New York; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a brother, George Smith Jr., Birmingham, Alabama; a sister, Marsha Mick, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by 3 sisters, Yvonne "Bonnie" Shongo, Margaret Brown and Shirley Blackmon.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York with Deacon Michael Anderson, of Our Lady of Peace Parish, officiating.

Burial will be in Green Cemetery, Great Valley, New York.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Jenny B. Richmond Chaffee Nursing Home in Springville, New York.
