Ramona Biscup
Mrs. Ramona Biscup, 78, of Center Road, Steamburg, New York, died Wednesday evening (May 5, 2010) at the Olean General Hospital. Olean, New York.
Born March 6, 1932, in Coldspring New York she was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Elsie Logan Abrams. She was married on July 21, 1950 to Doug “Ducky” Biscup who predeceased her on October 22, 2004.
She had been employed as a medical records clerk at the Lionel John Health Clinic for over twenty years prior to her retirement.
Mrs. Biscup was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians, Turtle clan, life member of the ladies auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign War John Ahrens Post # 5296. She was an avid bingo player, and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, bowling, and travel.
Surviving are two sons Randy (Janice) Biscup, Randolph, New York, Marc Biscup, Salamanca, New York one daughter Toni Biscup, Olean, New York, four grandsons, Randy Biscup Jr. Sterling, IL, Christopher Biscup, Lakewood, New York, Adrian Biscup Verona, New York, Damon Biscup, Salamanca, New York a great-granddaughter Taylor Biscup, Rock Falls, Il.; two brothers, Morris Abrams, Jimersontown, Thomas Abrams, Salamanca, New York; three sisters, Elverna Gordon, Steamburg, New York, Marcia Abrams, Steamburg, New York, Corliss (Floyd Bucktooth III) Abrams, Steamburg, New York, several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Biscup was predeceased by a son Rodney “ Russi” Biscup, three brothers, Merle Crouse, Cornelius, Abrams Jr., Wayne Abrams, and one sister Gloria Crouse Friends may call at the family home 50 Center Road, Steamburg, New York all day Friday.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday (May 8,2010) beginning at the family home at 9 AM followed by services at 10 AM in the Coldspring Longhouse.
Burial will be in Hillside Haven Cemetery, Steamburg, New York
