Richard L. Brown

Richard L. Brown, 64, of Salamanca, NY died Thursday morning, June 1, 2023 at home.

Born December 24, 1958 in Salamanca, NY he was the son of the late Donald and Eva Godfrey Brown.

He had been employed with Holiday Valley for over 10 years in their maintenance department. He had previously worked for Universal Well Services, Bradford PA.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching TV westerns, and movies. In his younger years, hunting, and fishing.

Surviving are: a granddaughter; four grandsons; a great-grandson; three sisters, Jessie Manning, Salamanca, NY, Bonnie Brown, AZ, Brenda (Kenneth) Caswell, Randolph, NY; four brothers, Herbert (Susan) Brown, Salamanca, NY, Kevin (Dorothy) Brown, GA, Thomas Brown, Conewango Valley, NY, Robert (Dawn) Brown, Machias, NY; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by a daughter Katherine Brown, two sisters, Donna Sample, Ella Keith, and an infant brother, Harry J. Brown.

There will be no visitation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
