Robert Bromley

Mr. Robert Bromley, 65, of Fancy Tract Road, Machias, New York died Thursday, December 24, 2015 at the Olean General Hospital, Olean, New York.

Born December 17, 1950 in Lackawanna, New York, he was the son of the late Albert and Eleanor Brown Bromley. He was married to the former Elaine Mitchell, who survives.

Mr. Bromley was self-employed and owned Robert Bromley General Contractor.

He was a member of the American Legion Post #659 in Ellicottville, the American Legion Hughes-Skiba Post #535, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars John F. Ahrens Post #5296 in Salamanca.

Surviving besides his wife are: a daughter, Bobbi Jo (Gerard) Matthew, Easton, PA; two grandchildren, Delaini Matthew, Vance Matthew, both of Easton, PA; a nephew, Joshua Lord, Delevan, NY; a niece, Melissa Lord, Syracuse, NY.

He was predeceased by a son, Michael Bromley, and a sister, Shirley Lord.

There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Ellicottville, New York.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
