Robert Cavender

Robert Cavender, 61, of Jamestown, NY died Monday, September 17, 2018 in Jamestown, NY, after being found in the Chadakoin River.

Born October 3, 1956 in Dunkirk, NY, he was the son of the late Denver and Barbara Mohr Cavender.

He was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Turtle Clan.

He was a graduate of Dunkirk High School, Class of 1975.

He enjoyed playing billiards, was an avid outdoorsman, and especially liked fishing.

Surviving are: a sister, Roxanne Cavender, Jimersontown, NY; two nieces, Minnie Webster, Buffalo, NY, Mary Frank, Salamanca, NY; a nephew, Johnny Rysdyke, Salamanca, NY.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Ronnie Cavender and Dennis Cavender.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 10 a.m. in Memorial Heights Cemetery, Jimersontown, NY.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
