Robert Davies Jr.

Mr. Robert L. Davies Jr., 45, of Little Valley, NY, formerly of Great Valley, NY, died early Saturday morning, September 9, 2017 following a long illness.

Born November 10, 1971 in Olean, NY, he was the son of the late Robert L. Davies Sr. and Linda Butler Davies.

Mr. Davies had worked in maintenance in several area commercial buildings, as well as in Vero Beach, FL. He had previously been employed at the former Norton Hardwoods in Great Valley, NY.

He enjoyed music and was an excellent guitar player, playing in Praise Teams and area bands. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.

Surviving are: a daughter, Makayla Davies, Ischua, NY; two sons, Jordan Davies, Salamanca, NY, David Davies, Ischua, NY; a sister, Molly (Charles) Jacobs, Salamanca, NY; two nieces, Elizabeth (Craig) Blouvet, Ashley Zarzecki, both of Salamanca, NY.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held in the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Wallace Mapes officiating.
