Robert F. Fisher

Robert F. Fisher, 64, of Salamanca, NY died surrounded by his family on Friday evening, July 30, 2021 at the Salamanca Rehab & Nursing Center following a long illness.

Born February 23, 1957, in Salamanca, NY, he was the son of Frank and Alma Woodworth Fisher, State Park Avenue, Salamanca, NY.

He was attended Salamanca High School and had been employed as a drywaller for over 25 years. He was also a self-employed truck driver and had worked at Allegany State Park.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, the outdoors, camping, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoyed taking long car rides. He enjoyed sports and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.

Surviving besides his parents are: his loving companion, Paula Slocum, Salamanca, NY; two daughters, Bobbi Jo Fisher, OH, Leigh Rae Fisher, Salamanca, NY; three sons, Michael Fisher, Christopher Fisher, both of OH, Robert Fisher Jr., MICH; two sisters, Peggy (Brian Lowry) Nolan, Bolivar, NY, Jodi Anne (Chad) Adams. GA; two brothers, Russell (Mirta) Fisher, Kill Buck, NY, James (Darren) Fisher, Salamanca, NY; nine grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by a brother, David Fisher.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
