Robert H. Taylor

Robert Taylor, 70, formerly of East State Street, Salamanca, NY died Monday, October 15, 2018 at Salamanca Nursing & Rehab following a long illness with his brother Richard by his side.

Born August 6, 1948 in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Elwood and Arlene Woodin Taylor, whose 70th wedding anniversary was the day Robert died.

He was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1968.

Robert had been employed at Antone's in Salamanca for over ten years as well as Central Lanes/Crist Restaurant and the former Fancher Furniture Company.

He enjoyed socializing at the bowling alley.

Surviving are: four brothers, Jim (Linda) Taylor, Richard Taylor, Larry (Lynn) Taylor, all of Salamanca, NY, Doug (Janelle) Taylor, Allegany, NY; a sister, Cheryl Taylor-Bacelli, Salamanca, NY; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Daniel Taylor, Donald Taylor, a sister, Barbara Ferraro, two brothers-in-law, Joseph Ferraro, Richard Bacelli, a sister-in-law, Rose Jean Taylor, and two nephews, Daniel Paul Taylor Jr. and Lawrence Taylor Jr.

There will be no visitation.

Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery, Olean, NY.
