Robert Reger

Mr. Robert Reger, 69, of Klawitter Road, Great Valley, New York died Monday morning (December 7, 2009 ) at his home following a brief illness.

Born on October 10, 1940 in Buffalo, New York he was the son of the late Willard and Eleanor Reger. He was married on June 14, 1996 to the former Mary Slater who survives.

Mr. Reger was employed by Griffith Oil, Olean, New York until his retirement. Later he was employed by Niagara Majestic Bus Service servicing the Seneca Allegany Casino.

He enjoyed woodworking.

Surviving besides his wife are: a daughter, Debbie( (Robert) Crowley, Great Valley, New York; 2 sons, Ronald (Jamie) Reger, California, Aaron (Robyn) Reger, Cattaraugus, New York; a step son, Thomas (Tabetha) Leazott, Rochester, New York; a step daughter, Tamara (Lynn) Eddy, Great Valley, New York; 10 grandchildren, Stephanie Crowley, Salamanca, New York, Joseph (Nicole) Crowley, Charlotte, N.C., Kelsie Reger, California, Kayla Reger, California, Carson Reger, Cattaraugus, New York, Aubrey Reger, California, Cameron Eddy, Great Valley, New York, Brooke Eddy, Great Valley, New York, Nate Leazott, Rochester, New York, Kelly Leazott, Rochester, New York; a brother, William (Lorraine) Reger, Albuquerque, New Mexico; 2 sisters, Joyce Schifla, Buffalo, New York, May Butchkowski, Buffalo, New York; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at which time funeral services will be held with Rev. Ronald Mierzwa, pastor of Holy Name of Mary Church, Ellicottville, New York officiating.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
