Robert Webb

Robert Webb, 60, of Salamanca, NY died Monday, July 3, 2023 at Olean General Hospital following a short illness.

Born July 10, 1962 in Angola, NY he was the son of the late John and Marjorie Hammond Webb.

Robert attended Cattaraugus Central School.

He had been employed as an equipment operator with Fitzpatrick & Weller, Ellicottville, NY for over 30 years, retiring in 2022. He had also been employed with Busch Industries, Salamanca, NY.

Robert enjoyed the outdoors, watching wildlife, and was an avid fisherman. He will also be remembered as a pro-cannabis advocate.

Surviving are: two sisters, Barbara Burke, Little Valley, NY, Dorothy (Rex Gibbs) Bieber, Delevan, NY; two brothers, Franklyn (Donna) Webb, Highpoint, NC, Roger Ellis, Gowanda, NY; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother John Webb Jr.

There will be no visitation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home, 528 W State Street, Salamanca, NY on Friday afternoon, September 1, 2023 and continuing all day.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
