Roger A. Phearsdorf Jr.
Roger A. Phearsdorf Jr., 25, of Salamanca, New York died Monday, April 18, 2016 at his home.
Born September 26, 1990 in Olean, New York, he was the son of Roger A. Phearsdorf Sr. of Kill Buck, New York, and Darren Carney of Salamanca, New York.
Roger was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 2008.
After school, he had worked with his father in the logging industry and most recently was employed by Lewis Tree Service in Rochester, New York.
He was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Deer Clan. He was also a member of the Ponca Tribe. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed being in the woods.
Surviving besides his parents are: his loving companion, Samantha Raichlin, Salamanca, NY; two sons, Drake Phearsdorf, Roger A. Phearsdorf III, both of Salamanca, NY; a brother, Andy Phearsdorf, Kill Buck, NY; two sisters, his twin, Ren¬a Phearsdorf and Delilah Phearsdorf, both of Kill Buck, NY; paternal grandparents, David and Margaret Phearsdorf, Kill Buck, NY; maternal grandmother, Rae Jones, Jimersontown, NY; maternal grandfather, Joe Snyder, Salamanca, NY; maternal great-grandmother, Emma Carney, Concord, NH
Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., at which time funeral services will be held with Rev. Michael Lonto of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church officiating.
Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to EARS, 2 Fancher Ave, Salamanca, NY.
