Rolyn Gampp

Rolyn G. Gampp, 78, of Portville-Eldred Road, Portville, New York, formerly of Jamison Road, East Aurora, New York, died early Wednesday morning, April 20, 2011, at the Absolut at Salamanca, Salamanca, New York, following a short illness.

Born December 20, 1932, in Niagara Falls, New York, he was the son of the late George & Esmarie Darling Gampp.

He had attended school in Kenmore, New York, and spent his adult life with his parents on their farm on Jamison Road, East Aurora, New York. He helped in the farm operation by driving tractors and other vehicles. From there, he worked at the Suburban Adult Services Workshop and then moved to family homes administered by the Rehabilitation Center of Olean, New York.

Surviving are one brother, Maron (Ann) Gampp, of Slidell, LA, and one sister, Barbara Fedele, of Jensen Beach, FL.

He was predeceased by a brother, Malcolm Smith.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
