Ronald E. Bromley
Ronald E. Bromley, 76, of Salamanca, NY, died Sunday, March, 24, 2024 at Olean General Hospital, Olean, NY following a long illness.
Born April 19, 1947 in Salamanca, NY, he was the son of the late Gerald and Theresa Shubert Bromley.
He was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1965 and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Ronald had been employed as an over-the-road truck driver, hauling for over twenty-five years with Q Carriers, Clinton, MS.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be remembered for his practical jokes. He enjoyed playing video games and was an avid New York Yankees, Buffalo Bills, and Buffalo Sabers fan. Ron had a big heart and would help anyone in need.
Surviving are: a daughter, Ashleigh Bromley, Buffalo, NY; three sons, Scott (Stacy) Bromley-Stone, Jamestown, NY, Aaron Bromley, Chad Bromley, both of NC; three sisters, Sharen (Leon) Green, Berkley Springs, WV, Mary (Terry) Neudeck, Portville, NY, Cynthia (Dave) Koch, Salamanca, NY; two brothers, David (Donna) Bromley, Prattville, AL, Ross Bromley, Edmeston, NY; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son, Thomas Bromley-Stone three sisters, Deanna Hill, Pamela Bromley, Donna Chesson, two brothers, Tom Bromley, and Michael Bromley, and a great-granddaughter, Cassandra Stone.
There will be no visitation.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
