Rose Butler
Mrs. Rose Butler, age 60, formerly of Salamanca, New York died on June 7, 2010 at her home in Wynne, Arkansas following a long illness.
Born on October 9, 1949, in Salamanca, she was the daughter of the late Paul & Marian Mosher Sullivan. She was married on November 18, 1967 in Salamanca, New York, to Mr. David Butler who survives.
Mrs. Butler was a homemaker who enjoyed traveling with her husband.
She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Olean, NY.
Surviving besides her husband are: 2 daughter, Susan (Vince ) Guest, Wynne, Arkansas, Jeanne (Chad) Ediger, Ward, Arkansas; a son, James Butler, Kirbyville, Texas; 2 brothers, John Sullivan, Petal, Mississippi, Harry (Darlene) Hendershot, Salamanca, New York; a sister, Marjorie Goodwill, Salamanca, New York.
She was predeceased by 2 sisters, Marie Calkins and Mary Terhune.
Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday afternoon at 1 P.M. with Reverend Steve Beattie of the United Pentecostal Church of Olean, New York officiating.
Burial will be in Crawford Cemetery, Salamanca, New York.
