Rosetta Gurnot Quattrone

Rosetta Gurnot Quattrone, 94, of Salamanca, NY died early Tuesday morning, March 22, 2022 at Olean General Hospital following a short illness.

Born October 29, 1927 in Bradford, PA, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Ruth E. Munn Gurnot. On January 18, 1947 she married Joseph E. Linane, who predeceased her. She was later married June 9, 1962 in Bradford, PA to Bruno A. Quattrone, who predeceased her in 2008.

She was a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1945.

Rosetta had been employed at the former F.W. Woolworth, Citizens National Bank, and in the accounting department at Dresser Manufacturing.

Rosetta had been a member of the Salamanca Senior Center and a former member of the Salamanca Garden Club.

Surviving are: a daughter, Deborah (Kermit) Moore, Great Valley, NY; a step son, David (Judy) Quattrone, The Villages, FL; six step grandchildren, Frederick Quattrone, Matthew (Kelsey) Quattrone, Brandon Quattrone, Patricia (Bryan) Nilsen, Bruno (Melanie) Quattrone, Bernadette (Cameron) Quattrone; seven step great-grandchildren, Maddox Guay, Ryker Quattrone, Jackson Nilsen, Katie Nilsen, Tanner Quattrone, Camille Quattrone, Reed Quattrone; a sister, Evelyn Corbett, Evant, TX; a brother, Donald Gurnot, Ft. Meade, FL; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a stepson, Frederick Quattrone, a stepdaughter, Nancy “Cookie” Orsini, brother-in-law, George Corbett, and sister-in-law, Jean Gurnot.

Honoring Rosetta’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services.

Burial will be in Crawford Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
