Roy E. Ullman
Roy E. Ullman, age 61, of Bear Hollow Road, Great Valley, New York died Friday (June 27, 2008) at his home following a long illness.
Born on December 14, 1946 in Olean, New York he was the son of the Oliver Ullman, Allegany, New York and the late Velma Miller Ullman. He was married on April 1, 1967 to the former Nan Norton who survives.
Mr. Ullman was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Army.
He was employed for Olean Wholesale for over 39 years, driving truck and working in the warehouse. He also served as their Union President.
He was member of the Great Valley Fire Co., enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid NASCAR fan, he also enjoyed watching old Western movies.
Surviving besides his wife are: 1 daughter, Heather Ullman, Jamestown, NY; 1 son, Clynton (Annette) Ullman, Salamanca, NY; 4 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Merle (Marlene) Ullman, Allegany, NY, Henry (Marie) Ullman, Allegany, NY, Mark (Laura) Ullman, Allegany, NY; 1 sister, Ella Mae Frank, Killbuck, NY.
There will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
