Russell L. Waite

Russell L. Waite, 61, of Salamanca, NY died Thursday morning, January 28, 2021 at Buffalo General Hospital following a long illness.

Born June 5, 1961 in Salamanca, he was the son of the late Richard and Mary Schreckengost Waite.

He had been employed with the former Seneca Crafts for over 15 years.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also liked bowling and was an avid poker player.

Surviving are: two brothers, David (Cindy) Waite, Salamanca, NY, Daniel Waite, Salamanca, NY; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Ramona Waite, and a brother, Richard E. Waite.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, 726 Exchange Street, Buffalo, NY 14210, or Homecare & Hospice, 211 Erie Street, Little Valley, NY 14755.
