Sampson Jacobs

Mr. Sampson R. Jacobs, age 24, of Salamanca, New York died suddenly, Thursday, June 28, 2012 in Jimersontown, New York.

Born on August 19, 1987 in Jamestown, New York he was the son of Dyann Gordon and the late Dean Jacobs. He was adopted by Sandra Kenyon and Daniel Lichy who raised him for over 20 years.

Mr. Jacobs was a graduate of Salamanca High School Class of 2006. He had attended Canandaigua College.

He had been employed with the Seneca Nation.

Mr. Jacobs was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians, the Snipe Clan, and attended the Cold Spring Longhouse. He enjoyed music and drawing.

Surviving besides his parents are: 2 brothers, Levi Lichy, Salamanca, New York, Marshall Jacobs, Steamburg, New York; 3 sisters, Kristin Peterson, Jamestown, New York, Krista Calkins, Steamburg, New York, Melissa Goodwill, Salamanca, New York.

Friends may call at the family home of Sandra Kenyon located at 3692 Center Road, Jimersontown, New York beginning late Saturday morning and all day Sunday.

Funeral services will begin at the family home on Monday morning at 9 A.M. followed by Longhouse Services in the Coldspring Longhouse.

Burial will be in Hillside Haven Cemetery, Steamburg, New York.
