Samuel W. Wingeier

Mr. Samuel W. Wingeier Jr., 42, of Salamanca, NY died unexpectedly early Saturday morning, May 6, 2023 at home.

Born August 5, 1980 in Springville, NY, he was the son of Robin Kendall Wingeier of Salamanca and the late Samuel W. Wingeier Sr. He was married on May 18, 2002 to the former Beth Holmes, who survives.

He was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 2000, and had been employed with Salamanca Lumber as an equipment operator for over 24 years.

Sam enjoyed spending time with his family; father-son car shows, daddy-daughter dates to get ice cream, and he loved to drive during family ride arounds.

Surviving besides his with Beth and mother Robin are: two children, Katherine and Derek; two sisters, Yvonne Buttman, Elizabeth Wingeier; and two brothers, William Wingeier, Nick Wingeier.

He was predeceased by his grandmother, Patricia Kendall.

There will be no visitation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.
