Sandra L. Oyler

Sandra L. Oyler, 76, of Salamanca, NY died Monday, December 11, 2023 at home following a long illness.

Born March 1, 1947 in Laconia, NH, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy LaBrecque Fowler. She was married on April 20, 1968 in Ashland, NH to Joseph Oyler, who predeceased her in 2002.

She was a graduate of Ashland High School, Class of 1965.

Sandra had been employed as a caretaker with the DDSO in West Seneca, NY for over 20 years, retiring in 2012.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed doing word searches, watching college and professional football, and was an avid reader. She was a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Ellicottville American Legion Post 659.

Surviving are: two daughters, Tracy (Sammy) Barbour, Canmer, KY, Dorothy Weaver, Salamanca, NY; a son, John Oyler, Salamanca, NY; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Justin Haynes.

There will be no visitation.

Graveside memorial services will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery, Ellicottville, NY at the convenience of the family and will be announced.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
