Sheila Crouse

Sheila Crouse, age 44, of Center Road, Jimersontown, New York died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon, April 1, 2015 shortly after arrival at Olean General Hospital, Olean, New York.

Born April 25, 1971 in Olean, New York, she was the daughter of Ronald “Arnie” Crouse, Steamburg, NY, and the late Sadie Redeye, who predeceased her in 2005.

She attended Salamanca Central Schools.

Sheila was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Hawk Clan.

Sheila was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter, family and friends, as well as her cat, Snowball and dogs, Boy, Chief, and Tyson.

Surviving are: a daughter, Amber Brooks, Jimersontown, NY; 4 sisters, Rebecca (Steve) Pierce, Jimersontown, NY, Pamela Redeye, CA, Rachel B. Crouse, Irving, NY, Luanne Redeye, Albuquerque, NM; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the family home, 3548 Center Road, Jimersontown beginning on Saturday and continuing all day Sunday.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 6th at 2 p.m. at the Jimersontown Presbyterian Church with Rev. Marvin Abrams officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery, Jimersontown, NY.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
