Suzanne Kettle

Suzanne C. Kettle, age 66, of Salamanca, New York died Monday evening, April 11, 2016 at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Darryl and Kariann Kettle.

Born on November 6, 1949 in Red House , New York she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Gladys Fatty Jones Sr.. She was married to Mr. Lenny Kettle who survives.

Mrs. Kettle had been employed as an Account Clerk for the Seneca Nation of Indians. She was a former Director of the Seneca Nation Library and currently serves on the library board.

She was an enrolled member of the Onondaga Nation of Indians.

Surviving besides her husband are: 3 sons, Darryl (Kariann) Kettle, Killbuck, New York, Kip Kettle, Merden Street, Salamanca, New York, Todd Kettle, Salamanca, New York; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a brother, Alfred Jones Jr., Steamburg, New York.

She was predeceased by 2 sons, Mark Kettle and Lenny “Sonny” Kettle, a sister, Sylvia John, and a brother, Raymond Jones.

Friends may call at the home of Darryl and Kariann Kettle, 78 School Street, Salamanca, New York late Tuesday afternoon and all day Wednesday.

Funeral services will be held in the family home on Thursday morning at 9 a.m. with Bobby Dean officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery, Jimersontown, New York.
