Tamara "Tami" Krause Silverman

Tamara "Tami" Krause Silverman, age 54, of Sausolito, California died unexpectedly Monday, December 31, 2012 at her home.

Born on April 21, 1958 in Salamanca, New York, she was the daughter of Audrey Bishop Krause, Salamanca, New York and late Clarence "Cy' Krause.

Tami was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1976 and Jamestown Community College, with a degree in Registered Nursing.

She had been employed at several hospitals in the San Francisco area.

She volunteered at the Humane Society, rescuing and adopting pets in Sausolito, CA and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed travelling and gardening, and was an avid skier.

Surviving besides her mother are: 4 sisters, Debbie Nelsen, Salamanca, NY, Sandy (Don Jr.) Scharf, Ellicottville, NY, Audrey Krause, Tucson, AZ, Joyce (Tony) Bergstrom, Salamanca, NY; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

The O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York is in charge of local arrangements.
