Tammy Delong

Tammy M. Delong, age 36, of 3575 Buffalo Road, Allegany, New York died Tuesday evening, August 4, 2009 at Olean General Hospital, Olean, New York.

Born on September 4, 1972 in Olean, New York she was the daughter of William and Judith Brooks Delong.

She was a graduate of Salamanca High School Class of 1993.

Ms. DeLong was employed at SubCon Industries in Salamanca and Olean.

She enjoyed word mazes, making pot holders, music and television.

Surviving besides her parents are: 4 sisters, Pamela (Patrick) Sullivan, Orchard Park, New York, Michele (Kevin) Henning, Cheyenne, Wyoming, Rhonda Delong, Allegany, New York, Holly (William) Butler, Portville, New York; a brother, William Delong Jr., Pa.; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Melvin & Grace Brooks, paternal grandparents, Hugh & Annie Delong.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 P.M. in the funeral home with Deacon Michael Anderson, of Our Lady of Peace Parish officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, New York.
