Terry L. Brooks

Terry L. Brooks, 51, of New York City, New York died Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at his home.

Born April 20, 1964 in Buffalo, New York, he was the son of Marlene Kettle Brooks, Carrollton, New York, and the late Clifford “Junior” Brooks.

He was a member of the Tonawanda Band of Senecas, the Wolf Clan, and was a member of the Cold Spring Longhouse.

He had been employed as an Iron Worker for the Local #46 in New York City, New York for ten years, and had previously been employed with the Local #401 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Surviving beside his mother are: two daughters, Karley Brooks and Alyssa Coustenis, both of Salamanca, NY; four sisters, Mona Logan, Carrollton, NY, Joni Brooks, Rhonda George, Sharon Whitney, all of Salamanca, NY; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was predeceased by four brothers, Arthur Kettle, Clifford “Doby” Brooks III, Dennis Brooks, and Brett Brooks.

Friends may call at the family home, 5972 Star Route 417, Carrollton, New York beginning Tuesday after 3p.m. and continuing all day Wednesday. .

Funeral services will be held at the family home on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 9 a.m.

Burial will be in Brooks Family Cemetery.
