Theodore Robinson

Mr. Theodore Robinson, age 84, of Chestnut Street, Salamanca, New York died Wednesday afternoon, September 5, 2007 at Olean General Hospital following a short illness.

Born March 20, 1923 in Hornell, New York he was the son of the late Clarence and Daisey Robinson.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. Robinson had been employed with the N.Y.S Department of Transportation in Hornell, New York for over 25 years. He had also been employed with the B & O Railroad in Salamanca, New York,

He was a member of Little Valley American Legion, Salamanca Conservation Club, Little Valley Lions Club, Randolph Loyal Order of the Moose, Randolph Rod & Gun Club, Cattaraugus Trappers Association, and a member of the former Salamanca Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1002. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, raising and racing homing pigeons.

Surviving are: a daughter, Mrs. Deborah (David) Berg, Little Valley, New York; a son, Ted (Patricia) Robinson, Salamanca, New York; 2 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by an infant great granddaughter, Ashley Robinson and a brother, Forest Robinson. There will be no visitation.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
