Theresa Burlin

Ms. Theresa A. Burlin, 59, of Henry St, Salamanca, NY died early Thursday morning, March 16, 2017 at the Absolut of Salamanca following a long illness.

Born July 3, 1957 in West Point, NY, she was the daughter of Sharon Raines Burlin of East State St, Salamanca, and the late Robert Burlin.

Ms. Burlin had been employed with the Seneca Allegany Casino for 11 years and as a caregiver at Moosehart in Moosehart, IL for over 11 years.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, baking and decorating cakes, the outdoors, and gardening.

Surviving besides her mother are: three daughters, Angela Burlin, Salamanca, NY, Amy Crump, Jena, LA, Nicki (Cody) Collins, Salamanca, NY; a son, Kevin Burlin, Normal, IL; ten grandchildren, Mikayla Burlin, Olivya Burlin, both of Salamanca, NY, Dominick Burlin, Jaxon Burlin, both of Normal, IL, Xavier Collins, Kylsa Collins, Mariah Hayes, Zachariah Leonard, all of Salamanca, NY, Aubree Caplinger, Taysen Meyer, both of Normal, IL; two sisters, Tina (Russell) Sansbury, Gonzales, LA, Michelle Oxmann, Sparrows Point, MD; three brothers, Michael (Rhonda) Burlin, Salamanca, NY, Mark (Theresa) Burlin, Laplace, LA, Robert Burlin, CA; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Craig Burlin and Kurt Burlin.

Memorial visitation will be held at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River St, Salamanca, NY on Tuesday from 2 – 4 p.m., at which time a memorial service will be held.
