Thomas C. Williams

Thomas C. Williams, 68, of Sawmill Run Road, Little Valley, New York died Saturday evening (May 27, 2017) surrounded by loved ones.

Born July 7, 1948 in Salamanca, New York he was the son of the late Thomas Williams Sr. and Patricia McClure Zink of Little Valley who survives. He was married on June 6, 1970 to the former Felicia Bartozyk who survives

He was a veteran of the Unites States Army serving in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam Conflict.

Thomas had been employed as laser technician, shipping manager and machine operator prior to his retirement in 2013.

He was an honorary Deacon at the House of Prayer, had an unwavering faith in Christ, loved his family fiercely and was loved by family and friends. Thomas was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, his life was an inspiration to all who knew him as he battled (ALS) Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig Disease. He never complained and lived a full joyous life despite the loss of the ability to walk, eat or speak. He maintained his dignity compassion for others, his inner faith as the disease ravaged his body. He was dearly loved and will be missed.

Surviving besides his wife and mother, are a son Jason (Brittany) Williams, Portville, NY a daughter Arielle (Kyle) Kean, Hartstown, PA, five Grandsons, Zane Williams, Hunter Williams, Kaiden Franklin, Bryce Franklin, all of Portville, NY, Carson Kean, Hartstown, PA, Two sisters; Cheri (Larry) Stewart, Tami Zink, both Little Valley, NY, two brothers James (Tammy) Williams, Napoli, NY, Jeff Zink, Salamanca, NY

There will be no visitation.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday morning, June 5,2017 at 11 a.m. in the House of Prayer with Rev. Robert Goode officiating.

The O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc, Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York is in charge of funeral arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials in his honor be sent to The House of Prayer, 122 Highland Avenue, Salamanca, NY 14779 of The ALS Association, 1275 K Street NW, Suite 250, Washington DC 20005
