Thomas Jacobs
Mr. Thomas Lynn Jacobs, age 48, of East State Street, Salamanca, New York died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at his home.
Born on May 25, 1962 in Salamanca, New York he was the son of the late Alfred and Reva Dowdy Jacobs.
He was previously employed by the Seneca Nation Day Care Center.
Mr. Jacobs was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians, the Turtle Clan, and the Coldspring Longhouse.
Surviving are: his loving companion, Karen Redeye, Salamanca, New York; 3 sons, Ryan George, Salamanca, New York, Tyson Jacobs, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Cheyenne Redeye, Salamanca, New York; 2 daughters, Kyla Jacobs, Kristin Jacobs, both of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; several grandchildren; 4 sisters, Janis Bowen, Merrie Carol Jacobs, both of Salamanca, New York, Alena Eileen Jacobs, Steamburg, New York, Cheryl Jacobs, Keshena, Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Betsy Jacobs, and a brother, Kirby Frank Jacobs.
Friends may call at the family home of his sister, Alena Eileen Jacobs, 65 South Loop Road, Steamburg, New York after 4 P.M. on Thursday and all day Friday.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday beginning at 9 A.M. in the family home followed by services in the Coldspring Longhouse at 10 A.M.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
Burial will be in Hillside Haven Cemetery, Steamburg, New York.
