Violet Frank
Mrs. Violet Frank, formerly of Perry Street, Salamanca, New York died Tuesday evening, September 20, 2011 at The Absolut of Salamanca.
Born August 16, 1927 in East Otto, NY she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Bertha Glow Westfall. She was married on November 22, 1945 in Otto, NY to Mr. Robert F. Frank who predeceased her on October 15, 1999.
Mrs. Frank was employed as a shipping clerk and was 1st Forelady at Taylor Jamestown Table Company in Salamanca, NY for 7 ½ years, the former Sheble & Wood Woolen Mills in Salamanca, NY , the former Youth Camp in Great Valley, NY, and at the Cattaraugus County Board of Elections as an Inspector.
She was a member of the A.A.R.P. She loved her grandchildren, dogs and flowers.
Surviving are: 1 son, Mr. Lloyd (Betsy) Frank, Limestone, NY; 1 daughter, Mrs. Connie (Victor) Bierfeldt, Limestone, NY; 4 grandsons, Mr. Joe (Darci) Bierfeldt, Limestone, NY, Mr. Matt (Karen) Frank, Bradford, PA, Mr. Andy Frank, of Limestone, NY, Dr. Mark (Ivett) Frank, DeKalb, Illinois; 1 granddaughter, Amy (Bo Howell) Bierfeldt, Springfield, Ohio; 5 great grandchildren, Zackary Bierfeldt, Nicholas Bierfeldt, Limestone, NY, Victoria Howell, Springfield, Ohio, Naomi Frank, Akemi Frank, both of DeKalb, Illinois; 2 sisters, Mrs. Ruth (Howard) Strickland, North Otto, NY, Mrs. Lillian (Herbert) White, Frostproof, FLA; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Leonard Westfall, Richard Westfall, a sister, Grace Lincoln.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside services will be held in Crawford Cemetery, Salamanca, NY at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
