Virginia Aumock

Mrs. Virginia Aumock, age 88, formerly of 4932 Route 219, Great Valley, New York died Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at the Absolut of Salamanca, New York.

Born on September 6, 1919 she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lucy Whitehead Lounsbury. She was married on May 12, 1934 to Mr. Andrew Aumock who predeceased her on August 3, 2003.

Mrs. Aumock had been employed at the former Herman's Store in Ellicottville, New York and the former Salamanca District Hospital.

She was a member of A.A.R.P and Great Valley Senior Citizens.

Surviving are: 3 daughters, Mrs. Sybil (Eugene) Scharf, Great Valley, New York, Mrs. Shirely (Eugene) Roszyk, Little Valley, New York, Mrs. Linda Lee Johnson, Broomfield, Colorado; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation.

Burial will be in Green Cemetery, Great Valley, New York.

The family suggests memorials to the Great Valley Volunteer Fire Department Ambulance Fund.
