Virginia "Ginger" Anderson
Virginia L. "Ginger" Anderson, age 65, of Maples Road, Mansfield, New York died unexpectedly at her home on Saturday morning, July 12, 2008.
Born on December 3, 1942 in Gowanda, New York she was the daughter of the late Robert I. Sr. and Lavonne Fuehrer Bolton.
Ms. Anderson was employed with ERA Vacation Properties Group (formerly Century 21 Town & Country) Ellicottville, New York and Patti Crist, both for over 20 years. In addition, she was a Licensed Real Estate Agent. She had previously been employed as Office Manager at Sevenson Construction, Niagara Falls, New York, Union Concrete, West Seneca, New York, and had worked for Beaver Pneumatic, of Montreal, Canada.
She had served as a volunteer at the Ellicottville Memorial Library and was a member of the American Legion Post #659 Auxiliary in Ellicottville, New York. An avid reader, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and loved living and socializing in Ellicottville.
Surviving are: her companion for over 24 years, Bill Martin, Maples Rd, Ellicottille, New York; 2 daughters, Lavonne (Brian) Childs, Jamestown, North Carolina, Jennifer (Martin Crouse Jr.) Willet, Salamanca, New York; a son, Mike (Keri) Reisch, Eden, New York; 5 grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Rice, Gowanda, New York; a brother, Robert I. Bolton Jr., Angola, New York; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, John Bolton.
Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Wednesday from 2 -4 & 7 -9 P.M.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday morning at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Michael Lonto, pastor of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Ellicottville Memorial Library.
