Warren Moses Jr.

Warren Moses Jr., age 72, of Salamanca, NY died Sunday, January 20, 2019 at his home following a long illness.

Born on October 12, 1946 in Syracuse, NY he was the son of the late Warren Moses Sr. and Lenora “Honey” Smith.

He was a graduate of St. Lucy’s Academy, Syracuse, NY.

Mr. Moses had been employed in the construction business.

He was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Wolf Clan. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid walker. He enjoyed reading, sudoku, crossword puzzles as well as games of chance. He was an avid sports fan of his beloved Syracuse University Basketball Team. He enjoyed socializing at the local clubs.

Surviving are: a daughter, Amy Johnson, Onondaga, NY; a sister, Mary Moses, Salamanca, NY; 3 brothers, David (Judy)Smith, Cleveland, NY, Patrick Smith, Salamanca, NY, James Smith, Salamanca, NY; several nieces and nephews including Clarissa Smith and Brody DeGrenier, both of Salamanca, NY.

He was predeceased by 2 sisters, Carol Moses, Deborah DeGrenier, and a brother, Ellsworth Moses.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 4-6 p.m.

Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery, Nedrow, NY.
