Wesley Spruce

Wesley Curtis Spruce, 49, of Ward Street, Salamanca, NY died unexpectedly at his home Tuesday, June 20, 2017.

Born October 25, 1967 in Salamanca, NY, he was the son of Nelson Spruce Jr., Buffalo, NY and the late Marilyn Cooper.

Mr. Spruce was a lifelong resident of Salamanca and a graduate of Salamanca High School Class of 1985.

He was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Turtle Clan, Coldspring Longhouse. He enjoyed watching wrestling, football, and NASCAR.

Surviving besides his father are: three sons, Evan Spruce, Luke Shongo, Joshua Spruce, all of Salamanca, NY; a daughter, Lorenza Spruce, Salamanca, NY; four grandchildren; two brothers, Charles (Joanne) Spruce, Keith (Amy) Spruce, both of Salamanca, NY; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Friends may call at the Coldspring Longhouse all day Thursday, where funeral services will be held on Friday morning at 10 a.m.

Burial will be in Hillside Haven Cemetery, Steamburg, NY.
