William "Bill" Fisher
Mr. William “Bill” Fisher, 65 of Kill Buck, NY, died early Wednesday morning, January 2, 2019 following a short illness.
Born December 14, 1953 in Salamanca, NY, he was the son of the late William Fisher and Nancy Bennett. He was married on December 21, 1974 in Salamanca to the former Carol Sage, who survives.
He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Ft. Sill, OK.
He had been employed at Seneca Manufacturing for over two years. Previously, he was a Union Mason for over forty years.
He was a member of the Local #3. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He was a “grill master” and was known and loved by many.
Surviving besides his wife are: four daughters, Shanea (Bill Lightner) Morris, Salamanca, NY, Tonya Fisher, Great Valley, NY, Angie (Donald) Wagner, Randolph, NY, Missy (Jerome} Jenkins, Lakeview, NY; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Tina (David) Stanczykowski, Salamanca, NY, Laurie (Rudy) Sloot, IN; four brothers, Kim (Pam) Fisher, PA Kenny (Pat) Fisher, Great Valley, NY, Timmy (Becky) Fisher, Carrollton, NY, Kelly Fisher, KY; several nieces and nephews.
Per Bill’s request, there will be no visitation.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 5pm at the Holy Cross Athletic Club.
A graveside veterans service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
