Yvonne Phillips

Mrs. Yvonne Phillips, 79, died Monday, January 21, 2019 at Olean General Hospital following a short illness.

Born July 30, 1939 in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Kathrine Dugarm Zahn.

She was employed as a home health care worker for Staff Builders in Buffalo NY for over fifteen years.

Mrs. Phillips enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and was an avid reader.

Surviving are: two sons, Steven Phillips, Salamanca, NY, Dale (Michele) Phillips, Cheektowaga, NY; four sisters, Ruth Zahn Cunningham, Grand Island, NY, Mary Lou Zahn, Buffalo, NY, Sandra Zahn Gold-Duka, Grand Island, NY, Linda Zahn Dietz, Buffalo, NY; six granddaughters, Danielle (Brad) Phillips-Skiba, VA, Gail (Kris) Kenneson, Kill Buck, NY, Hannah Phillips, Salamanca, NY, Arin Krause, Brianna Krause, Lindsay Phillips, all of Buffalo, NY; a grandson, Eli Phillips, Salamanca, NY; four great-grandchildren, Derek Phillips-Skiba, Sarah Phillips-Skiba, Lillian Phillips-Skiba, all of VA, Jacob Kenneson, Kill Buck, NY; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Leslie Phillips.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.

Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo, NY.
