Zaidee Storey

Mrs. Zaidee Storey, 71, of Salamanca, New York died unexpectedly, Monday, July 27, 2015 at her home.

Born November 18, 1943 in Great Valley, New York, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Elisca Rodgers Vaughn. She was married on April 25, 1970 to Mr. Howard Storey, who predeceased her on July 31, 1997.

She had been a long time employee of the Salvation Army and later as a Data Entry Clerk for the Department of Public Works in Salamanca, New York.

She was a member of the Salvation Army.

Surviving are: 2 sons, Howard (Dorothy) Storey, Ellington, NY, Donald (Dawn Kindt) Storey, Winston-Salem, NC; 4 daughters, Colleen (Jess Mohr) Ehman, Ocala, FL, Beverly (Lloyd) Stines, Quinby, IA, Joelle Storey, Pamela Ehman, both of Salamanca, NY; 24 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Beverly (Ron) Esterline, Kalamazoo, MI, Lorna Button, Salamanca, NY; 2 brothers, Wayne Vaughn, Salamanca, NY, Norm (Mickey) Vaughn, West Valley, NY; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Kevin Storey, a sister, Garinet Beeles, 2 brothers, Neil Vaughn, and Phillip Vaughn.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Friday evening from 4-7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. with Richard Ingles officiating.

Burial will be in Green Cemetery, Great Valley, New York.
